為慶祝四月「地球月」，香港迪士尼樂園度假區（香港迪士尼）以創新方式推動可持續發展，推出一系列全新環保措施，包括將「美國小鎮大街」的經典古董車「大街的士」（Main Street Taxi）升級為電動車、落成全港首個及最大型的太陽能停車場上蓋、擴展太陽能系統至「魔雪奇緣世界」，並引入人工智能技術以提升能源效能。這些項目體現香港迪士尼在推動可再生能源與環保創新方面的持續承諾，締造更綠色的明日。

In celebration of Earth Month this April, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) unveils a series of magical environmental initiatives that combine innovation with nostalgia — most notably, transforming the beloved Main Street Taxi into an electric-powered vehicle.  Alongside this, HKDL has launched Hong Kong’s first and largest solar car park canopy, extended its solar power systems to World of Frozen, and embraced AI technology to improve energy efficiency. These efforts reinforce HKDL’s leadership in building a more sustainable tomorrow.

Hong Kong Disneyland Celebrates Earth Month with Electric Main Street Taxi and Green Innovations

香港迪士尼施展魔法，將「美國小鎮大街」的經典古董車「大街的士」（Main Street Taxi）改裝為電動車，展現環保與懷舊的完美結合。設施服務部團隊以較環保的電動摩打取代原有的汽油引擎和液壓傳動系統，同時保留二十世紀初的復古外觀，並加裝音響系統模擬汽油引擎聲，讓賓客在享受懷舊乘車體驗的同時，亦能呼吸更清新空氣。是次升級不但減少廢氣排放，更延續舊有車輛生命，實踐「減廢」精神。

Blending heritage with clean energy, HKDL has reimagined the iconic Main Street Taxi into an electric vehicle. The resort’s facility services team replaced its gasoline engine and hydraulic transmission with an electric motor, drastically reducing emissions. The vehicle retains its charming early 1900s design and now features an audio system that simulates engine sounds, offering guests the same nostalgic ride — now with cleaner air and reduced waste.

全港首個及最大型太陽能停車場上蓋啟用
Hong Kong’s First and Largest Car Park Solar Canopy

今年，香港迪士尼邁出潔淨能源應用的重要一步，在演藝人員停車場正式啟用全港首個及最大型的太陽能停車場上蓋。項目第一階段已安裝近200塊雙面太陽能板，為40個車位提供遮蔭。第二階段完成後，太陽能板將倍增至近400塊，年發電量預計超過20萬度電，推動低碳未來。

HKDL also celebrates a milestone in renewable energy with the launch of Hong Kong’s first and largest solar canopy at its cast members' car park. Nearly 200 bi-facial solar panels were installed in the first phase, providing shelter for 40 vehicles. Upon completion of phase two, the panel count will double to almost 400 — generating over 200,000 kilowatt-hours annually.

此外，太陽能應用將擴展至「魔雪奇緣世界」，在今年將於「魔雪奇幻之旅」及「雪嶺滑雪橇」的天台增設太陽能板。預計在2025年底，全園太陽能板總數將超過8,300塊，所產生的電力足以供應約1,200個三人家庭一年的用電量。

HKDL will further expand solar coverage to World of Frozen, with solar panels set to be installed on the rooftops of Frozen Ever After and Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. By the end of 2025, over 8,300 solar panels across the resort will generate enough energy to power approximately 1,200 three-person households for a full year.

電動車充電器＋人工智能節能管理
Supporting Clean Commutes and Smart Energy

為鼓勵綠色出行，香港迪士尼亦於園區內安裝逾130個電動車充電器，方便賓客及演藝人員使用潔淨能源通勤。

To promote green commuting, HKDL has installed over 130 electric vehicle chargers throughout the resort for guests and cast members.

為鼓勵綠色出行，香港迪士尼亦於園區內安裝逾130個電動車充電器，方便賓客及演藝人員使用潔淨能源通勤。 同時，度假區亦引入人工智能數碼分身模型（AI Digital Twin model），應用於冷氣供應系統。透過模擬及預測製冷需求，此AI技術有效提升系統效能，在確保賓客舒適體驗的同時，亦大幅減少能源消耗與碳排放。 

In addition, HKDL has introduced an AI-powered digital twin model for its district cooling system. By simulating cooling demands and optimizing operations through predictive analytics, the resort significantly reduces energy usage and carbon emissions while maintaining guest comfort.
