聖誕前夕，人見人愛的 米奇老鼠（Mickey Mouse）再次出動，聯同 香港迪士尼樂園度假區（香港迪士尼）的「迪士尼義工隊」（Disney VoluntEARS），於2024年12月19日到訪 大口環根德公爵夫人兒童醫院（大口環兒童醫院），為醫院的患病兒童和他們的家人帶來一場溫馨而別具意義的「迪士尼『童樂遊』- 聖誕大派對」，向社區傳遞奇妙力量與關愛。
On Christmas Eve, the beloved Mickey Mouse made a special appearance again, joining hands with Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL)’s Disney VoluntEARS to visit the Duchess of Kent Children’s Hospital (DKCH) on December 19, 2024. Together, they brought a heartwarming and meaningful “PlayWell with Disney – Happy Wishmas Party” to the young patients and their families, spreading Disney’s magical spirit and compassion to the community.

大口環根德公爵夫人兒童醫院行政總監 陳金海醫生 表示：「我們照顧的患病兒童中，大多數面臨著終身的慢性疾病，這些挑戰不僅在身體上，更在心理上帶來了重大的影響」，患病兒童可能因健康狀況無法像其他孩子一樣自由前往迪士尼樂園。由於他們複雜的健康狀況，這樣的經歷對他們來說往往遙不可及，而今天的活動卻將夢想化為現實。迪士尼代表著夢想和可能性，陳醫生 分享：「對這些患病兒童和他們的家庭來說，這次探訪不僅為他們帶來快樂和笑容，更為他們帶來勇氣，讓他們以更積極的心態去對抗疾病。」
Dr. CHAN Kam Hoi, Hospital Chief Executive of DKCH, said, “We are grateful to HKDL for coming to the hospital to hold a Christmas party for the sick children during the Christmas season. Many of the children we care for face chronic life-long illnesses that can be physically and emotionally challenging. Unlike healthy children, they may not have the opportunity to visit places like Disneyland on their own. The realities of their complex health conditions often make such experiences seem out of reach. So this event is incredibly meaningful for the children. Disney represents a world of dreams and possibilities. For these children and their families, this visit not only brings them joy and smiles but also gives them courage and a more positive attitude to fight their illnesses.”

香港迪士尼於今年四月首度推出「迪士尼『童樂遊』」醫院探訪項目，「迪士尼義工隊」（Disney VoluntEARS）積極參與，先後到 香港兒童醫院、伊利沙伯醫院 探訪病童，為兒童患者的治療旅程中帶來歡樂，盼能提升病童的體驗。
This April, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort launched the “PlayWell with Disney” hospital visit program for the first time. Since then, Disney VoluntEARS have visited young patients at the Hong Kong Children’s Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital, bringing joy and comfort to young patients and striving to enhance and add a personal touch to their hospital experience.
在這次 大口環根德公爵夫人兒童醫院 的探訪項目，米奇老鼠 聯同 香港迪士尼領袖團隊、及迪士尼義工，先在病房中與住院病童見面，向住院病童送上由「迪士尼義工隊」精心準備的聖誕禮物。
In this visit to the DKCH, Mickey Mouse, together with the Leadership Team from Hong Kong Disneyland and Disney VoluntEARS, first visited the inpatient wards to meet hospitalized children. They brought heartfelt Christmas gifts, carefully prepared by the Disney VoluntEARS, to bring joy to the young patients.

米奇、香港迪士尼樂園度假區首席財務總監 施楠，帶同聖誕禮物到病房探望病童。這些禮物來自早前 香港迪士尼 響應 華特迪士尼公司 全球計劃「Disney Ultimate Toy Drive」的「分享禮物．分享愛」聖誕玩具捐贈活動，以及「Disney Hospital Care Packages」計劃。
Mickey, joined by Lesz Banham, Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, HKDL, visited the wards to personally deliver Christmas gifts. These gifts came from a toy donation event held by HKDL earlier called “Give A Toy, Share the Love” Christmas Gift-Giving event, as part of The Walt Disney Company's global initiative “Disney Ultimate Toy Drive”. The presents are also part of the "Disney Hospital Care Packages" initiative.
施楠 表示：「分享一直是我們的核心價值。除本月初送出的18,000份聖誕玩具，香港迪士尼早前亦派發6,000個禮包予公立醫院兒科的病童。這些特別設計的禮物富有迪士尼元素，有助兒童在住院期間更有家的感覺。」
"Giving is always at the heart of what we do,” said Benham. “In addition to the 18,000 Christmas toys distributed earlier this month, HKDL previously distributed 6,000 care packages to child patients in public hospitals with pediatric wards. These special care packages include uniquely Disney items that help children feel more at home during their hospital stay”.

另外，約80名病童及家屬參與「迪士尼義工隊」在醫院活動空間設置的互動攤位遊戲。除了設置聖誕裝飾增添氣氛，義工隊更細心考慮到 大口環兒童醫院 的病童活動能力較弱，在安排及設計攤位遊戲時，注意有互動元素之餘，亦選擇較為輕巧的項目，希望病童更易參與。
Additionally, around 80 young patients and their family members joined the Disney VoluntEARS at interactive game booths set up in the hospital's area. In addition to setting up festive Christmas decorations, Disney VoluntEARS also carefully arranged and designed games booths for the child patients considering their limited mobility. They paid attention to include interactive elements in the game while choosing simple items that were easy for the child patients to play with.

來自娛樂事務部的迪士尼義工更安排精彩的現場表演，包括歌唱、舞蹈、擊鼓和雜耍表演，讓病童享受一個奇妙派對。米奇老鼠 更驚喜現身，為病童在治療旅程上加油打氣，令一眾患病小朋友和家人都收穫充滿歡笑的奇妙聖誕節回憶。
Disney VoluntEARS from the HKDL’s entertainment department specially arranged exciting live performances, including singing, dancing, drum talk and juggling, allowing the children to enjoy a wonderful party, with Mickey Mouse's surprise appearance cheering up the children on their treatment journeys.

兒童醫院的其中一位病童 黃子樂，現年15歲，患有罕見的 CFC 症候群（心臉皮膚綜合症），自嬰兒時期便面臨着餵食困難現餵食困難，需進行胃造口餵食。他有發展性遲緩和腦癇，腦癇需通過多種抗腦癇藥物治療。他需要通過呼吸機維持生命，並於去年轉介至醫院接受多學科團隊的康復計劃支援。聖誕派對當天，「迪士尼朋友」與表演為 子樂 的日常帶來了久違的歡樂時光。
One of the patients at DKCH, Marcus Wong, is a 15-year-old boy diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder called Cardiofaciocutaneous (CFC) syndrome. Since infancy, he has faced feeding difficulties, requiring gastrostomy feeding. He has global developmental delay as well as epilepsy, which is managed with multiple anti-seizure medications. Marcus relies on ventilatory support and has been under DKCH’s multidisciplinary rehabilitation care since November 2023. During the Christmas party, Disney characters and performances brought a touch of magic to Marcus's daily life.
