《追浪少女》由 楚迪埃德勒（Trudy Ederle）的真實故事改編，並由 黛絲烈尼（Daisy Ridley）飾演這位首名成功橫渡英倫海峽的女泳手。生於1905年的 楚迪 在美國紐約一個移民家庭中成長，得到姊姊和教練的大力支持，排除萬難，抵抗父權社會的壓迫，於奧運泳隊中逆流而上，完成這項從法國橫渡33公里抵達英國的驚人壯舉。

Based on the extraordinary true story of Trudy Ederle, the first woman to successfully swim the English Channel, Daisy Ridley stars as the accomplished swimmer who was born to immigrant parents in New York City in 1905.
