香港管弦樂團（Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra）將於2023年12月呈獻「怪誕城之夜電影音樂會」（THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS LIVE IN CONCERT）

燈飾上是南瓜，骷髏骨穿聖誕服。這是聖誕節？還是萬聖節？大家小心嘩鬼出城。萬聖鎮「南瓜王」骷髏積（阿積）（Jack Skellington, The Pumpkin King）為了改善聖誕節，找來各樣驚奇禮物，用骷髏骨馴鹿拉車，更綁架了聖誕老人，更與「惡巫先生」（Oogie Boogie）決戰。最後是驚叫還是歡笑？電影《怪誕城之夜》（The Nightmare Before Christmas）由鬼才導演 添布頓 監製，於1993年上映，早已成為經典。適逢此動畫於今年面世30週年，香港管弦樂團（港樂；Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra）在音樂廳特設大熒幕，放映時現場演奏「格林美獎」得主 葉夫曼 為電影創作的音樂。

But wait – isn’t this Christmas? Jack Skellington, The Pumpkin King, is trying to take over our beloved holiday by kidnapping Santa Claus. Who will save Christmas? Come experience Tim Burton’s timeless holiday classic on the big screen in its full glory, with Grammy-winning composer Danny Elfman’s music score performed live with the film by your home orchestra – Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.
