Team up in Marvel’s Avengers Community Challenges and equip Cosmetics

As we approach the launch of Marvel's Avengers and Beta early access, we have a new update from the developer Crystal Dynamics.

Community Challenges in each month

The developers will elevate Marvel's Avengers in terms of game rewards.  Community Challenges have exact goals for players to team up with their teammates and achieve them.  Once they have reached the goals, the whole community, all players will receive the rewards.  As such, the challenges will need gamers to work together as a whole so everyone can gain rewards at the end, like the Avengers.  Fighting against the common threats.

There will be exclusive Community Challenges for PlayStation players, stay tuned for more information on the first Community Challenge.

Avengers Cosmetics

Each superhero such as Hawkeye have their own narratives, skills, gear, outfits, emotes, nameplates, and takedowns to represent their character in the Marvel's Avengers adventure.

Different cosmetics are alternate outfits that are faithful to these iconic characters in Marvel’s 80 years history.

Cosmetic items' rarities are categorized into:

• Uncommon
• Rare (Blue)
• Epic (Purple)
• Legendary (Gold)

Unlock most of these in the main story campaign and war zones missions.  Additional cosmetics are also available in various vendors, the Marketplace and more.

Legendary Outfit - Champion Hulk  (inspired by 2006 Planet Hulk) 

Solaris Armor Iron Man and Thor’s Royal Aesirian Outfit/Asgard’s Might Outfit

Ms Marvel Battle Suit

Takedowns are cosmetic abilities - perform a high-damage move in battle.

Each Takedown showcases a Super Hero’s personality.  For instance, Ms. Marvel channels her inner Hulk and “Kamala-SMASHING”.  Cosmetics personalize each Super Hero to fit your style, they DO NOT provide any additional advantage to gameplay.

PlayStation Players Advantages

• 30-day exclusive access to a Legendary Outfit, Legendary Emote, Epic Takedown, and nameplate for each Super Hero
• Free bundle (a Rare Outfit, nameplate, and 100 Credits) for all PS Plus members upon each new join-in superhero

• August 21, 2020 Open Beta for all three platforms

The game will also feature our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man on PlayStation.
