Hawkeye revealed during the Marvel's Avengers second War Table. The appearance is inspired by 2013 Hawkeye, Vol. 1: My Life as a Weapon, wrote by Matt Fraction, artists David Aja, Javier Pulido and Alan Davis. Hawkeye has his own story mission chain, which is not in the main campaign. Day 1 beta will unlock Hawkeye as a playable character. According to Crystal Dynamics on twitter, Hawkeye joins the expanding world on a mission catalyzed by a cryptic clue, it is the key to save the future lies in the past. This implies that Hawkeye will play a major role in the game, which is the main reason the team keeps the character a secret.
For Fortnite gamers who finish the beta, they can receive the Hulk Smashers Pickaxe with bonus Hulkbuster in Fortnite.
Avengers Initiative:
In the Beta, gamers will play the single-player session first, similar to the full game at launch. Players can experience Hero Missions (Main Story Campaign) and discover War Zones missions, finish War Zones missions in either CO-OP or single player. Crystal Dynamics will also showcase the fight between Hulk and Abomination for players to feel the scale of the game.
War Zones Missions: up to 4 players. On day 1 beta, you can choose Iron Man, Kamala Ms Marvel, Hulk, Black Widow and Hulkbuster as playable characters.

Waves of challenges Holographic Augmented Reality Machine rooms to test your ability in Marvel’s Avengers. With increasing difficulty in the simulator, you can unlock three more HARM challenge rooms in beta (Excursions when chained together in the full game). Earn a Nameplate after completing.
Beta is only a small part of the full game, launch is just the beginning for Marvel’s Avengers. Earn nameplates and skill points during beta, these will automatically transfer to the full game at launch.

POI (Point of Interest): The area requires players to clear enemies and solve environmetal puzzle. Gamers will receive gears and resources for Hero Progression upgrade, as well as comics upon completion of the area.
