Spider-Man Swings into Action Above Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park

The official Disney Parks blog shared a new video of the Spider-Man Animatronic in action. The suit is inspired by Spidey's suit design in Spider-Man: Homecoming. This is a big deal for Disney and Marvel fans as Spidey will be swinging and hopping from one building to another.

There is test footage from the Disney+ series The Imagineering Story to give you a closer look at the robot. The test footage gives a better idea of how this newfangled contraption functions.

Disneyland’s Avengers Campus would feature a life-size Spider-Man animatronic flung through the air above the Marvel-themed section of the theme park in this year summer.

Guests will be recruited to become the next generation of Super Heroes. The campus will feature new experiences including:

1. The Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB)
– Spider-Man attraction

2. Pym Test Kitchen
– an all-new catering facilitate

3. Heroic encounters

– team up with your favorite Super Heroes including Spider-Man, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther and the Dora Milaje, Thor and Loki, Iron Man and for the first time, Ant-Man and The Wasp

4. Avengers Headquarters – witness Earth’s Mightiest Heroes springing into action at a moment’s notice all over the building
