Hulu Marvel's HOWARD THE DUCK and TIGRA & DAZZLER Shows cancelled

Reports from Variety, The Hollywood Reporter and Newsarama confirmed that "Marvel's Howard the Duck" and "Tigra & Dazzler" animated series have been shut down. Back in 2019, "Cloak & Dagger", "Runaways" and "Ghost Rider" series on Hulu have also been halted.

The reason is unknown for not moving forward with either show, except for Ghost Riders, which stated "...due to creative differences". Judging from the December 2019 news that the entire story writing crew left the show, this indicated that the decision was made last month.

A similar situation happened in the Netflix shows of the four defenders in February. On October 15, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has been promoted to Marvel's chief creative officer and he is responsible for Marvel TV and publishing as well. The news might indicate that Kevin has plans for these characters in the future.

As of now, "The Offenders" animated crossover is not going to fly, only "Hit Monkey and M.O.D.O.K." animated series on ABC remains in the development stage. A live-action Helstrom is set to premiere in late 2020, as well as a final season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on ABC. Marvel TV head Loeb continues to work on the live-action scripted TV originals with ABC's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Speaking of Marvel's TV series, "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" will be streamed on Disney+ this year's fall. The show takes place after the event Avengers: Endgame. It is unclear whether Falcon will take on the mantle of Captain America, the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War leads Bucky (aka the Winter Soldier) and Sam Wilson to run from the government. Baron Zemo and US Agent will play roles in the series as expected.
