Phantom Manor officially reopened on May 3, 2019 and Disneyland Resort Paris prepared a special party before the reopening day.

Experiencing the upgraded stories
Thunder Mesa has been a quiet town for some times, in fact, nothing very disturbing happen since it was built in 1849. Some years prior to it’s construction, nothing was here, it was an empty valley, with a beautiful rock formation, which was called Big Thunder Mountain. The only ones living in this valley was the tribes, they believed that a powerful spirit lived in this rock formation, and they called him the Thunderbird.
The legend tell that anyone who dare to disturb the Thunderbird, would have a terrible curse upon his family, and that an horrible earthquake would happen to protect the mountain deepest secrets.
Prior to 1849, some prospectors discovered the valley, and began they research for gold. The place where they found the biggest amount was in Big Thunder Mountain, where they found enough to build a town. And so they did it, in no time, a saloon, a shop and a blacksmith opened their doors to for the incoming prospectors. In respect to the mountain name, the “Thunder” was keeped to call the city Thunder Mesa. Mr. Henry Ravenswood was one of the first prospectors to discover Big Thunder Mountain, and as he amassed gold he created the Big Thunder Mountain Mining Company, where all the futur miner went to find a job. With all the money he made from that company, Henry started building a big Manor, on the little hill at the south of Thunder Mesa. Henry was known for being a womanizer, and had many adventures with the girls from the local saloon, called “The Lucky Nugget”.
Melanie
But there was one time where it didn’t ended well, he made the girl pregnant, and he chose to keep the child. The child, which was a girl was called Melanie. Soon after, he married Martha, to hide the fact that this little girl was illegitimate. They lived happily for years, until Melanie was ready to get married.
Thunder Mesa Riverboat
Soon, a lot of man came, all of them searching a way to put their hand on the family ihuge wealth. Four mans stood between the others ones, Captain Rowan D.Falls , which was a boat driver on the Thunder Mesa Riverboat; Ignatus “Iggy” knight, a foreman at the Big Thunder Mesa Mining Co; Sawyer Bottom, founder of the Thunder Mesa Lumber Co, and Barry Claude, a stranger which made fortune in the new industry of oil. Everything went fine, until those 4 suitors disappeared in strange circumstances.
Mr. Henry Ravenswood (The Phantom)
Soon after, Melanie and her father Henry disappeared from the town. They stayed in the manor, even while this one began to fall into alarming disrepair, with an overgrown garden. Locals soon started to witness strange occurrences, which started to gain his new name of “Phantom Manor”.
After some years, the council of the town sealed off any pathway to the manor. Soon after, the local photographer decided to install a small photo booth, “Spirit Photography”, with it’s “Spectral Camera”, which is supposed to be able to take pictures of ghosts. Some locals told that some ghosts on the pictures looked like the one they witnessed the appearances. During this time, the council decided to hire some investigators. The first ones run away from the town at mid night, frightened half-mad. The second group was last seen getting inside the manor, and disappeared forever. The last one was a group of scholars from renowned institutes, and they told that everything was hallucination and illusions. Anyway The Sheriff told that he don’t know how they can tell this, when those mans never came to Thunder Mesa.
