華特‧迪士尼先生（Walter Elias “Walt” Disney）於1966年12月15日逝世，而2016年的今天正是他與世長辭50年的日子。華特迪士尼公司（The Walt Disney Company）與「D23: The Official Disney Fan Club」正式公佈 將會聯同 全球多個 Disney Parks 於2016年12月5日至15日期間舉行「Walt Week」悼念活動，而指定樂園更會在今天（2016年12月15日）設立「華特迪士尼粉絲牆」（Walt Disney Message Board）讓大家寫下悼念內容，相關的留言板將會安排在2017年的「D23 Expo: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event」上（2017年7月14日至16日）擺放出來與全球 迪士尼粉絲 分享。
參與樂園包括：

‧Disneyland Resort: The gallery inside the Main Street Opera House at Disneyland park from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m
‧Walt Disney World Resort: Inside One Man’s Dream at Disney’s Hollywood Studios from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
‧Disneyland Paris: Inside the Liberty Arcade on Main Street, U.S.A., at the entrance of “Statue of Liberty Tableau” from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
‧Hong Kong Disneyland: Inside Art of Animation on Main Street, U.S.A., from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
