香港國際主題樂園有限公司（下稱主題樂園公司）股東（即香港特別行政區政府及華特迪士尼公司）於今天（二零一六年八月三十一日）宣佈再度委任查懋聲先生及區嘯翔先生為主題樂園公司獨立非執行董事，為期兩年，由二零一六年九月一日起生效。

The shareholders of Hongkong International Theme Parks Limited (HKITP) (i.e. the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (the Government) and The Walt Disney Company) today announced the reappointment of Mr. CHA Mou Sing, Payson and Mr. AU Siu Cheung, Albert as Independent Non-executive Directors (INEDs) for a term of two years with effect from 1st September 2016.

查懋聲先生是香港興業國際集團有限公司主席。他曾於一九九七年至二零零零年間出任海洋公園公司董事局主席。區嘯翔先生是一位會計師，現為香港立信德豪會計師事務所有限公司主席。他曾於二零零七年十二月至二零零八年十二月期間出任香港會計師公會會長。查先生與區先生分別於二零零六及二零一零年首次獲委任為主題樂園公司獨立非執行董事。他們在香港及區內商界擁有豐富的經驗，對主題樂園公司的持續發展有莫大裨益。

Mr. CHA is the chairman of HKR International Limited. He chaired the Board of the Ocean Park Corporation from 1997 to 2000. Mr. AU is a Certified Public Accountant and currently the chairman of BDO Limited. He was the president of the Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants from December 2007 to December 2008. Mr. Cha was first appointed as an INED of HKITP in 2006 while Mr. Au was first appointed in 2010. Both have extensive local and regional business experience that is beneficial to the continuous development of HKITP.

主題樂園公司是政府與華特迪士尼公司於一九九九年為發展和營運香港迪士尼樂園度假區而成立的聯營公司。連同是次委任的兩位獨立非執行董事，主題樂園公司董事局共有十一位董事。

HKITP was a joint venture established by the Government and The Walt Disney Company in 1999 for the development and operation of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort. There are 11 Directors on the Board of HKITP including the two INEDs. The full membership list is located in the Annex.
