財政司司長 曾俊華先生 於今天發表了 二零一五至一六財政年度財政預算案（The 2015-16 Budget），在預算案演詞中的第32項簡略地提及了有關 香港迪士尼樂園度假區（Hong Kong Disneyland Resort）的發展，相關內容如下：
32. 長遠而言，我們會提升旅遊基建。迪士尼樂園「鐵甲奇俠」新園區和以探索冒險為主題的新酒店，將於今明兩年分別啟用。政府會繼續與迪士尼公司商討樂園整體發展計劃。海洋公園內第一間酒店和大樹灣水上樂園預計分別在明年和二零一八年落成。政府會繼續籌劃位於啟德和大嶼山的旅遊項目，而沙中線會展站上蓋的會議設施，設計工作正在進行中。32. In the long run, we shall upgrade our tourism infrastructure. Hong Kong Disneyland will open in 2016 and 2017 respectively a new themed area based on Marvel's Iron Man franchise and a new hotel with a theme dedicated to the spirit of exploration. Government will continue to discuss with the Walt Disney Company the overall development of the theme park. The first hotel in Ocean Park and the Water World in Tai Shue Wan are also scheduled for completion in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Government will continue preparatory work for the tourism projects in Kai Tak and Lantau. The design work for the conference facilities above the proposed Exhibition Station of the Shatin to Central Link is underway.
